Trivium Announce New EP, Unleash “Bury Me With My Screams”

Trivium has announced the upcoming release of their three-song Struck Dead EP, unveiling the opening track “Bury Me with My Screams.” The EP is set to be released on October 31st. Frontman Matt Heafy showcases his signature dual-vocal abilities, seamlessly transitioning between clean singing and guttural growls while the band delivers blistering riffs. The accompanying music video offers an intense look at Trivium performing in their expanded hangar studio space, which the band transformed into a full-fledged recording facility in 2023. Bassist Paulo Gregoletto explained that the EP’s creation was influenced by the band’s rehearsals for the “The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour,” celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Ascendancy. He also noted that the personal struggles of the past year were poured into the new material, resulting in a “cathartic release.” (COS)
