The BBC will finally premiere the hour-long documentary, Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, on October 2, after delaying its original August release at the Osbourne family’s request following Ozzy’s death in July. Directed by Paula Wittig, the film covers the final three years of Osbourne’s life, including his move from Los Angeles back to the UK, his health struggles, and his final show at Black Sabbath’s farewell concert. According to a synopsis, the documentary “is a moving portrait of one of the world’s most entertaining families at a pivotal moment in their history. Ahead of retirement, Ozzy is determined to perform one last time, for himself and for his fans.” The documentary also includes footage following Ozzy’s death, highlighting the global outpouring of grief after the passing of the heavy metal legend. This release follows the earlier announcement of Paramount+’s No Escape From Now, another posthumous Osbourne documentary that is set to premiere on October 7. (Rolling Stone)
